Joe is President of Executive Retirement Plan Services. He has over 18 years of experience, specializing in 401(k), 403(b), Defined Benefit, Cash Balance, and Nonqualified 409A Plans. Joe has experience working with hundreds of retirement plan clients and leverages his expertise to create the ideal client experience for Executive Retirement Plans’ clients.
Joe is responsible for M&A activity, growth strategy, sales, and marketing across Executive Retirement Plan’s locations. Prior to joining Executive Retirement Plans, Joe became an Equity partner in Pension Plan Services (PPS) in March 2021 where he successfully built processes that maximized efficiencies in the sales distribution network. As a result, Joe grew PPS by more than 40%. Joe’s background and expertise make him uniquely equipped to lead our sales and business development teams and set the direction for substantial future growth.
Joe currently holds the Qualified 401(k) Administrator designation, as well as a C(k)P, which puts him in a select group of Certified 401(k) Professionals, a designation he earned through UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. During his tenure at John Hancock and MassMutual, Joe received several awards, including the “Rising Star” (2017), and was a six-time President’s Club recipient. He also was a member of several leadership councils for Fortune 100 companies, and he has served as a Regional Vice President and as a Managing Director.
Joe is a graduate of Arizona State University. He lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with his wife, Jennifer and their two children. He enjoys golf, Green Bay Packers football, and traveling with his family.
